One Bookmark to Rule All

It seems everyone is using or offering Bookmark Services, and why not they allow you to take your Bookmarks with you without leaving them on someone else's computer. After months of looking at these services and trying to decide which one(s) to use, it hit me; use them all!

But what a mess of code that would be so I kept looking. All the time saying, "there must be a better way."

Finally I found it or did it find me, One Bookmark Service to Rule All.

Is it Web 2.0?

The term 'Web 2.0' is getting toss around like a lawn dart so you start searching and reading, all the time worried that you are missing the boat again.

What is Web 2.0?

The Wikipedia has a page on Web 2.0 so you read it and now your head is spinning so some more searching and you find the O'Reilly page What is Web 2.0?, but their Web 2.0 Report PDF is $375 USD.

Here are some more free pages to read on Web 2.0.

Now you think you are starting to get it, but you say, "how can I be sure it really is Web 2.0?"

Is there a Web 2.0 validator?

Yes there is, well sort of, get yourself ready to laugh because the Web 2.0 validator ruleset is open and you can add to them yourself.

Are you ready?

Here you go, Web 2.0 Validator

Enjoy!

Badges of Honor

You have been working hard to get your website all squared away. It looks good, works well and it is even valid so now you want to let everyone know. The good folks over at World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) validated your website and have free buttons for you. You would really like to display your badges of honor, but…

Yes, there are always buts and they go like the following.

Fear no more and don't worry about opening Photoshop to make your buttons. Dynamic Drive will save you; just head on over to their Button Maker Online tool and in a few minutes you can have the buttons you want.
