Everyone was Superman
In the beginning before Apple, DOS, and Windows everyone was Superman and all was good, but one day someone made an error.
After the dust came to rest, there where new permissions and they where assigned to users, all was good again.
Time passed and some forgot that day.
Apple was born and it shined. This worried Big Blue so in a rush, they also forgot that day, and give away their permissions for a child, named IBM PC. Big Blue's new partner liked their child, but wanted more and joined anyone willing.
Nearly 26 years later, after many lost files some are asking have you hear the story of when Everyone was Superman?

Welcome to Starbucks. Now Playing ...
It's Monday morning, the place is Starbucks and I am catching up on my reading. The second refill is almost gone and the Number One Question of the day is, "What song just played?"
The staff at Starbucks being helpful, runs to the back and gets the song info then returns to answer the question.
I know this is off-topic of my sites' mission, but what if Starbucks had a scoreboard on the wall behind the staff, above the menus and it display something like this:
Welcome to Starbucks
Now playing ...
for your enjoyment.
Would the line move even faster?
Would you just not care about the line, cause the scoreboard is great?

Is it 21 or Bust?
Today, is July 11 or 7/11 and if I believed in luck of the numbers I would be buying lottery tickets. It is not to say that I have never bought a lottery ticket, I have, but mostly when I am in the mood to donate to the State Poor Tax and have money to blow.
But on 7/7/07 things where wild, people rushing to get married or to make that lucky bet and I was out of town getting ready for a mini-family reunion. One stop at the Gas Station to fill the gas tank before going to my Aunt's house. I jump back into the car and start driving through my hometown towards the old highway.
My wife saids, "where is there a liquor store?"
I said, "Why?"

Let Freedom Ring
It's the day after the 4th of July and I am glad that my house did not burn down due to the actions of a local moron. But this got me thinking, if your web site has been online for anytime at all, you are a slave.
Yes, I said slave, a slave to forgotten files, layouts, and general dis-order.
So say these words, Let Freedom Ring, I will free my web site of the trash and kick some ass.
