Is Greymatter dead?

In the Greymatter Forums this question, "Is Greymatter dead?", comes up every year or so.

My answer to this question is, it depends, on if the current users and supporters can inspire others to help on one of the many fronts that are needed to keep an Open Source Project going. Remember this; Greymatter is free to use, free to install, free to upgrade, free to modify, whenever and however you choose.

If you love or like Greymatter past or present help us keep it alive by going to the forums and letting us know what features you would: lose, keep, or add to Greymatter?

Hey Carlos. I was wondering if you might be able to help me out with a bug I've found in Greymatter 1.8.2 that I discovered when I updated recently? The ((logentrylist AuthorName)) variable is broken ... it doesn't output anything. I've tested ((logentrylist number)), ((logentrylist month)), etc, and they all are working fine. Is this something you might be able to help me with? It's pretty vital to my site, and I'd hate to have to revert to an earlier version of Greymatter to make it work again. Specifics have been given here if you're willing and able: http://greymatterforum.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=gmtroubleshooting&action=display&thread=553 Thanks!
