I am not Superman
I am not Superman and I have no super powers except one. I can log into my Web Servers as a Superuser and lose everything with one error. You can do the same.
Do you want to start a trend?
I did not think so, but this was the point of my early post Everyone was Superman. When working on a File Server of any type, we should avoid using the Superuser account.
I know some will smile and say I am careful, but remember this; even Superman had an alter ego. If you have a hard time letting go of the Superuser account then be Clark Kent for your daily needs.
In addition, if you are working with files you hope to keep always backup them up and test the backups.
